تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
روزمره/غیررسمی. یک اصطلاح بسیار رایج و کلی برای کودکان. تقریباً همیشه با 'tikes' وقتی به کودکان خردسال اشاره دارد، قابل جایگزینی است، اما 'kids' بسیار گستردهتر است و میتواند به کودکان بزرگتر یا حتی فرزندان خود شخص بدون توجه به سن اشاره کند.
Everyday/Informal. A very common and general term for children. Almost always interchangeable with 'tikes' when referring to young children, but 'kids' is much broader and can refer to older children or even one's own children regardless of age.
