تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
متداول. در تأکید بر ترسبودن قابل جابهجایی است ولی coward جدیتر و رسمیتر است.
Common. Interchangeable with 'wimp' when emphasizing fearfulness, but 'coward' is more serious and formal. Example: 'He’s a coward for not standing up' works; 'He’s a wimp for not standing up' is less formal.
رایج/غیررسمی. بر ضعف جسمی یا ذهنی تأکید دارد و میتواند در بسیاری از موارد جایگزین wimp شود.
