رسمی. وقتی تمرکز بر بیعدالتی اخلاقی یا رفتار ناعادلانه است، با 'aggrieve' قابل جایگزینی است. "او توسط سیستم ستم شد" رایج است. "او توسط سیستم رنجانده شد" نیز درست اما رسمیتر است.
Formal. Interchangeable with 'aggrieve' when the focus is on a moral injustice or unfair treatment. 'He was wronged by the system' is common. 'He was aggrieved by the system' is also correct but more formal.
