رسمی/پزشکی. به هر اندام بیرونزده حیوان، از جمله بازوها، پاها یا بالها اشاره دارد. limbs یک اصطلاح گستردهتر است؛ arms به اندامهای بالایی انسان اشاره دارد. 'آسیب به اندامها' (injury to the limbs) هم بازوها و هم پاها را شامل میشود.
Formal/Medical. Refers to any projecting appendage of an animal, including arms, legs, or wings. 'Limbs' is a broader term; 'arms' specifies the upper human limbs. 'Injury to the limbs' would include arms and legs.
فنی. به طور خاص به بخشی از بازو بین آرنج و مچ دست اشاره دارد. با arms که کل اندام فوقانی را شامل میشود، قابل جایگزینی نیست. 'عضلات ساعد' (muscles of the forearms) از 'عضلات بازو' (muscles of the arms) خاصتر است.
Technical. Specifically refers to the part of the arm between the elbow and the wrist. Not interchangeable with 'arms' which includes the whole upper limb. 'Muscles of the forearms' is more specific than 'muscles of the arms'.
