رسمی/فنی. به چیزی که از ماده زنده مشتق شده باشد، به ویژه در شیمی، یا به چیزی که به طور طبیعی بدون مواد شیمیایی مصنوعی رشد کرده باشد، اشاره دارد. گاهی اوقات میتواند با biological به معنای منشاء طبیعی جایگزین شود، اما biological دامنه وسیعتری دارد.
Formal/technical. Refers to something derived from living matter, especially in chemistry, or growing naturally without artificial chemicals. Can sometimes be interchangeable with 'biological' when referring to natural origins, but 'biological' is broader in scope.

Everyday. Directly refers to something that is alive or has the characteristics of life. More direct and less academic than 'biological'. 'Living organisms' is very similar to 'biological organisms'.

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی/فنی. مستقیماً به وراثت ژنها اشاره دارد. biological و genetic اغلب هنگام بحث در مورد والدین قابل تعویض هستند، اما genetic بر جنبه DNA تأکید قویتری دارد. 'والد ژنتیکی' و 'والد بیولوژیکی' معمولاً یک مفهوم هستند.
Formal/technical. Directly refers to inheritance of genes. 'Biological' and 'genetic' are often interchangeable when discussing parentage, but 'genetic' emphasizes the DNA aspect more strongly. 'A genetic parent' and 'a biological parent' are usually the same concept.
