هیجان یا مدی که برای مدتی کوتاه در میان مردم رایج میشود.
A temporary but widespread enthusiasm or fashion for something.

«سال گذشته جنون خرید اسباببازیهای قدیمی بود.»
“There was a craze for vintage toys last year.”
رایج. تقریباً معادل craze است اما معمولاً کوتاهتر و کمتر جدی؛ مثل «مد زودگذر در پوشاک» در مقابل «هیجان جمعآوری».
Common. Almost interchangeable with 'craze' but often implies something even shorter-lived or less serious; e.g. 'a fad in fashion' versus 'a craze for collecting.'.
رایج/رسمی. گستردهتر و ماندگارتر از craze است؛ گاهی قابل تعویض ولی trend رسمیتر و پایدارتر است؛ مثلاً «روند مد» در مقابل «هیجان زمستانه».
Common/formal. Broader and more lasting than 'craze'. Can be used interchangeably in some contexts but 'trend' is more formal and ongoing; e.g. 'fashion trend' vs 'winter craze'.
رسمی/فنی. معنی قویتر و معمولاً پزشکیتر دارد؛ همیشه قابل تعویض نیست؛ مثلاً mania به بیماری روانی اشاره دارد ولی craze خیر.
Formal/technical. Stronger, often medical meaning than 'craze'. Not always interchangeable; e.g. 'mania' can refer to a mental condition unlike 'craze'.

رایج/رسمی. به معنی رواج یافتن به مرور است، کمتر ناگهانی از craze است. گاهی قابل تعویض؛ مثلاً «این سبک در حال رواج است».
Common/formal. Means to become popular over time, often more gradual than 'craze'. Sometimes interchangeable, e.g. 'This style is trending'.
