کسی که به عنوان واسطه بین دو طرف ارتباط برقرار یا مذاکره میکند.
A person who acts as an intermediary to communicate or negotiate between two parties.

«آنها برای رد و بدل پیامها به صورت مخفیانه از یک واسطه استفاده کردند.»
“They used a go-between to exchange messages secretly.”
رسمی. در زمینههای مذاکره یا حل اختلاف جایگزین go-between میشود، مثلا «یک میانجی به رسیدن به توافق کمک کرد». برای انتقال پیام غیررسمی به کار نمیرود.
Formal. Interchangeable with 'go-between' in contexts of negotiation or conflict resolution, e.g. 'a mediator helped them reach an agreement'. Not used for informal message passing.
رسمی/خنثی. وقتی نقش وصل کردن طرفین تاکید شود، بخصوص در کسبوکار یا دیپلماسی جایگزین میشود، مثلا «یک واسط قرارداد را تنظیم کرد». کمتر در کاربردهای محاورهای رایج است.
Formal/neutral. Can replace 'go-between' when emphasizing the role of connecting parties, especially in business or diplomacy, e.g. 'an intermediary arranged the deal.' Less common in casual use.
