Everyday. Refers to a more superficial injury where blood collects under the skin, visible as a discoloration. Haematomas are typically larger, deeper collections of blood. 'Severe impacts can cause haematomas, not just bruises' works, but 'She had bruises on her arm, not haematomas' when referring to minor discoloration.
پزشکی/رسمی. به ناحیهای از بافت یا پوست آسیبدیده اشاره دارد که مویرگهای خونی پاره شدهاند، اما پوست شکسته نشده است. اغلب در زمینه پزشکی به جای 'کبودی' استفاده میشود، اما به طور کلی کمتر از هماتومهای بزرگ شدید است.
Medical/Formal. Refers to a region of injured tissue or skin in which blood capillaries have been ruptured, but the skin is not broken.
