احساس ترس یا کمبود اعتماد به نفس داشتن به دلیل اینکه کسی یا چیزی تهدیدآمیز یا قدرتمند به نظر میرسد.

روزمره. وقتی ترس داریم جایگزین 'intimidated' میشود ولی 'frightened' کلیتر است و لزوماً ناشی از قدرت کسی نیست.
Everyday. Interchangeable with 'intimidated' when feeling fear, but 'frightened' is more general and not necessarily due to someone’s power.
رسمی/غیررسمی. معنی مشابه دارد اما 'daunted' بیشتر حالت ناامیدی یا غرق شدن دارد نه فقط ترس.
