فنی/تاریخی. نجیبزاده بریتانیایی که رتبهاش پایینتر از مارکی و بالاتر از ویسکونت است. قابل تعویض نیست زیرا 'ارل' یک رتبه متمایز و پایینتر از 'مارکی' است.
Technical/Historical. A British nobleman ranking below a marquis and above a viscount. Not interchangeable as 'earl' is a distinct rank, lower than 'marquis'.
