روزمره. وقتی درباره نزدیکی فیزیکی یا احساسی است قابل جایگزینی است — مثلاً «نزدیکی دو ساختمان» یا «نزدیکی عاطفی آنها». به اندازه proximity در بافتهای تخصصی به کار نمیرود.
Common. Interchangeable when referring to physical or emotional nearness — e.g. 'the closeness of the two buildings' or 'their emotional closeness'. Not used in technical contexts as often as proximity.
روزمره. مشابه proximity اما کلیتر و غیررسمیتر است. معمولاً برای نزدیکی فیزیکی یا انتزاعی در مکالمات عمومی به کار میرود.
