رایج. معمولا در موارد اندازهگیری قابل جایگزینی با quantity است، اما amount بیشتر برای چیزهای غیرقابل شمارش مثل مایعات یا مفاهیم استفاده میشود.
Common. Usually interchangeable with 'quantity' when referring to measurable amounts, but 'amount' often refers to uncountable things like liquids or abstract concepts. Example: 'The amount of water' works better than 'quantity of water' in casual speech.
