نقطهای در خط راهآهن که کالاها بارگیری یا تخلیه میشوند، اغلب در انتهای خط، و به عنوان نقطه انتقال به سایر وسایل حملونقل عمل میکند.
A point on a railway line where goods are loaded or unloaded, often at the end of the line, serving as a transfer point to other modes of transport.

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی/فنی. به آخرین ایستگاه در یک مسیر حملونقل عمومی اشاره دارد، میتواند برای راهآهن، اتوبوس و غیره استفاده شود. 'قطار به پایانه خود رسید.' برای انتهای خط راهآهن قابل تعویض است.
Formal/Technical. Refers to the final stop on a public transport route, can be used for rail, bus, etc. 'The train reached its terminus.' Interchangeable for the end of a railway line.
روزمره. مکانی که وسایل نقلیه، کالاها یا افراد در آن نگهداری یا پارک میشوند. 'انباری اتوبوس' رایج است. کمتر از 'railhead' خاص است زیرا لزوماً به معنای انتهای خط یا نقطه انتقال نیست.
Common. A place where vehicles, goods, or people are stored or parked. 'A bus depot' is common. Less specific than 'railhead' as it doesn't necessarily imply the end of a line or a transfer point.
