To refuse to accept, agree to, or believe something
«کمیته پیشنهاد او را رد کرد.»

“She rejected the job offer because of low salary.”
روزمره. وقتی عمداً چیزی را نپذیرفتن باشد، جایگزین reject میشود. reject کمی رسمیتر یا قویتر است.
Common. Interchangeable with 'reject' when denying something deliberately — 'She refused the offer' works too. 'Reject' can feel more formal or stronger rejection.

Formal/polite. Used mainly to politely refuse offers or invitations, not for strong negative judgment. 'Decline an invitation' but rarely 'decline a proposal' with strong sense.
