احترامی بسیار عمیق و همراه با ستایش نسبت به کسی یا چیزی داشتن.
To deeply respect and admire someone or something, often with feelings of awe and honor.
«بسیاری از مردم به نیاکان و بزرگترهای خود احترام عمیقی میگذارند.»
“Many people revere their ancestors and elders.”
«او به عنوان یک پیشگام در رشتهاش بسیار مورد احترام است.»
رسمی/مذهبی. معمولاً در زمینههای مذهبی بجای 'revere' به کار میرود، مثل «تعظیم به خداوند». برای احترامهای غیرمذهبی مناسب نیست.
Formal/religious. Can replace 'revere' mainly in religious or spiritual contexts, e.g. 'revere a deity' or 'worship a god'. Not suitable for secular respect.
رایج/رسمی. وقتی تأکید بر احترام و قدردانی است به جای 'revere' میآید ولی حس شگفتی عمیق در آن کمتر است.
Common/formal. Can substitute 'revere' when emphasizing respect and appreciation, but lacks the profound awe aspect of 'revere'.
