A narrow passage or entrance, similar to a neck.

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی/جغرافیایی. به درهای باریک بین تپهها یا کوهستانها اطلاق میشود که معمولاً دارای دیوارههای صخرهای شیبدار و رودخانهای در آن است. با 'throat' به معنای آناتومیک قابل تعویض نیست.
Formal/Geographical. Refers to a narrow valley between hills or mountains, typically with steep rocky walls and a stream running through it. Not interchangeable with 'throat' in the anatomical sense.
