روزمره. «صدقه» یک اصطلاح گستردهتر برای کمک به نیازمندان است، در حالی که «زکات» یک پرداخت مذهبی خاص و واجب در اسلام است. برای واجبات دینی قابل تعویض نیستند. «صدقه» برای اعمال عمومی بخشش و «زکات» برای رکن اسلامی به کار میرود.
Everyday. 'Charity' is a broader term for giving to those in need, whereas 'zakat' is a specific, obligatory religious payment in Islam. Not interchangeable for the religious obligation. Use 'charity' for general acts of giving, 'zakat' for the Islamic pillar.
