تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
فنی/بیولوژیکی. به هر پرندهای در خانواده Turdidae اشاره دارد که شامل مرغهای آبی نیز میشود. 'Bluebird' نوع خاصی از سارچه است که به راحتی با رنگ آبیاش قابل تشخیص است. در حالی که همه مرغهای آبی سارچهاند، همه سارچهها مرغ آبی نیستند. 'یک سارچه مهاجر' درست است، اما 'یک مرغ آبی مهاجر' دقیقتر است اگر آن گونه مورد نظر باشد.
Technical/biological. Refers to any bird in the family Turdidae, which includes bluebirds. 'Bluebird' is a specific type of thrush, easily recognizable by its blue color. While all bluebirds are thrushes, not all thrushes are bluebirds. 'A migratory thrush' works, but 'a migratory bluebird' is more precise if that's the species.
