تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
متداول. وقتی به دفن جسد زیر زمین اشاره دارد قابل تعویض است؛ مثلاً «او در قبرستان دفن شد». در بافتهای دیگر جواب نمیدهد.
Common. Interchangeable when referring to placing a dead body underground, e.g., 'He was buried in the cemetery.' Works in burial context, not for enclosing in other structures.
رسمی. بیشتر در محافل رسمی یا مراسم به جای entombed استفاده میشود، مثلاً «او با افتخار دفن شد»؛ در صحبت روزمره کمتر کاربرد دارد.
Formal. Used mainly in official or ceremonial contexts, interchangeable with 'entombed' in burial contexts, e.g., 'She was interred with honors.' Not used in casual speech.
