محدودههای وسیعی از زمین باز، معمولاً برای کشاورزی یا چراگاه؛ همچنین، حوزههای فعالیت یا مطالعه.
Areas of open land, especially for pasture or cultivation; also, areas of activity or study.

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
روزمره. وقتی به مناطق یا نواحی کلی اشاره دارد جایگزین 'fields' میشود، اما نه برای زمینهای کشاورزی یا رشتههای خاص دانشگاهی.
Everyday. Interchangeable with 'fields' when referring to general regions or zones, but not for cultivated land or specific academic disciplines. 'Areas of study' works, 'areas of corn' doesn't quite fit for a farm.
رسمی/آکادمیک. اغلب برای حوزههای انتزاعی دانش یا کنترل استفاده میشود، کمتر برای زمین فیزیکی. «قلمروهای علم» خوب است، اما «قلمروهای گندم» عجیب به نظر میرسد.
Formal/Academic. Often used for abstract areas of knowledge or control, less for physical land. 'Domains of science' works well, but 'domains of wheat' sounds odd.
