رسمی/خنثی. در دیدارهای غیرمنتظره جایگزین meet میشود ولی برای ملاقاتهای برنامهریزیشده مناسب نیست.
Formal/neutral. Can replace meet in chance or unexpected situations—'I encountered an old friend' works, but not for planned meetings.
روزمره. بیشتر به عمل خوشآمد گفتن اشاره دارد تا دیدار؛ برای خوشامدگویی مناسب است، نه ملاقات برنامهریزیشده.
Everyday. Focuses on the act of welcoming or acknowledging, not the meeting itself—'She greeted her guests' fits, but not 'They met at the cafe'.

Everyday. A casual or formal coming together of people—'a family gathering' works for social events, less so for competitive events.
رسمی/ورزشی. مخصوص مسابقات ورزشی است، مناسب جلسات کاری نیست.
Formal/sports. Specifically for sports or contests—'a track meet' is a common example, but not for business meetings.
