تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
معمول، اغلب در استخدام. برای کاهش تعداد زیادی از داوطلبان به یک لیست کوچکتر و قابل مدیریتتر برای انتخاب نهایی. هنگام محدود کردن داوطلبان کاملاً قابل تعویض است.
Common, often in hiring. To reduce a large group of candidates to a smaller, more manageable list for final selection. Fully interchangeable when applied to narrowing down candidates.
رسمی. به طور رسمی کسی را برای یک مقام، جایزه یا موقعیت پیشنهاد کردن. 'Nominate' به معنی پیشنهاد کردن است، در حالی که 'preselect' به معنی انتخاب اولیه است. همیشه قابل تعویض نیستند.
Formal. To formally propose someone for an office, award, or position. 'Nominate' implies suggesting, while 'preselect' implies making a preliminary choice. Not always interchangeable.
