تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی. بیشتر در اشاره به موضوعات قبلی رسمی جایگزین previous میشود — «رئیس جمهور سابق» در برابر «رئیس جمهور قبلی». همیشه در مکالمات غیررسمی استفاده نمیشود.
Formal. Can replace 'previous' mostly in referring to something earlier in time, especially in formal contexts — 'the former president' vs 'the previous president'. Not used for immediate past events in casual speech.
رسمی. وقتی به چیزی قدیمیتر اشاره میکند، در اسناد رسمی یا حقوقی به جای previous به کار میرود — «تجربه پیشین». در گفتار روزمره کمتر استفاده میشود.
Formal. Interchangeable with 'previous' when indicating something earlier in time, often in legal or formal documents — 'prior experience'. Less common in everyday conversation.
