تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
روزمره. 'جوشها' اصطلاحی بسیار رایج و کلی برای التهابات کوچک پوستی است. آنها تا حد زیادی قابل تعویض هستند، اما 'pustules' به طور خاص به وجود چرک اشاره دارد، که همه جوشها ندارند.
Everyday. 'Pimples' are a very common and general term for small skin inflammations. They are largely interchangeable, but 'pustules' specifically implies the presence of pus, which not all pimples have. 'She had a face full of pimples' (some might be pustules) vs. 'The doctor identified the pustules'.
پزشکی/رسمی. 'آبسهها' تجمعات بزرگتر و عمیقتر چرک در بافت هستند که از چرکدانهها شدیدترند. قابل تعویض نیستند.
Medical/formal. 'Abscesses' are larger, deeper collections of pus within tissue, more severe than pustules. Not interchangeable. You wouldn't say 'facial abscesses' when you mean 'pustules'.
