رایج/رسمی. معمولا زمان فکر کردن دقیق قابل جایگزینی با regard است — من او را دوست میدانم با هر دو جمله کاربرد دارد. در متن رسمی بیشتر به کار میرود.
Common/formal. Often interchangeable with 'regard' when meaning to think about carefully — 'I consider him a friend' and 'I regard him as a friend' both work. Used formally more than 'regard'.

Everyday. Can replace 'regard' when expressing an opinion, but less formal — 'I view this as important' is more casual than 'I regard this as important'.
