رایج. معمولا میتواند به جای shun استفاده شود، اما shun دلالت بر رد کردن اجتماعی قویتر دارد.
Common. Can generally replace 'shun' when meaning to keep away, but 'shun' implies more deliberate social rejection. 'She avoids crowds' works, but 'She shuns crowds' implies stronger intent.
رسمی/ادبی. هممعنا با shun است ولی در متون رسمی به کار میرود و در گفتگو نادر است.
Formal/literary. Synonymous with 'shun' but used in formal contexts. Rare in conversation. 'He eschews violence' sounds formal while 'He shuns violence' is more neutral.
