رسمی. معمولاً وقتی به تحمل چیز ناخوشایند اشاره میشود قابل جایگزینی است — 'abide by the rules' رسمیتر است، 'tolerate the noise' رایجتر. برای انتظار فیزیکی مناسب نیست.
Formal. Generally interchangeable when referring to putting up with something unpleasant — 'abide by the rules' is more formal, 'tolerate the noise' is common. Not for physical waiting.
