Everyday. A milder, more polite way to express disbelief or that something is untrue. Can replace 'bullshit' in most contexts where politeness is required. 'That's nonsense!' works where 'That's bullshit!' would be too rude.

Informal/slightly dated. Refers to pretentious but insincere or empty talk, intended to impress. 'Political claptrap' works, but it's less about outright falsehood and more about empty rhetoric.
