رایج. اگر companion همان دوست باشد جایگزین است؛ اما اگر همراه یا همکار باشد نه. مثلاً جملهی «او دوست من است» درست است ولی «همراه من در کسبوکار» کمتر رایج.
Common. Interchangeable when a companion is a friend; not interchangeable if companion is just a partner or colleague. For example, 'He is my friend' works but 'My companion in business' is less usual.
رسمی/خنثی. وقتی companion به رابطه نزدیک یا مساوی اشاره دارد، به خصوص در رابطه عاشقانه یا کاری استفاده میشود. همیشه جایگزین casual نیست.
Formal/neutral. Used when companion implies a close relationship or equal association, especially in romantic or work context. Not always interchangeable with friend or companion in casual contexts.

رسمی/فنی. وقتی companion به معنی کمکی است، مخصوصاً در زمینههای فنی؛ در زمینههای اجتماعی جایگزین نیست.
Formal/technical. When companion means supplementary or additional, especially in technical contexts. Not interchangeable in social contexts.
