رایج. شباهت به empathy دارد ولی بیشتر به همدردی یا ناراحتی برای دیگران اشاره دارد تا درک عمیق احساسات آنها. در مواقع تسلیت مناسب است ولی از نظر عمق عاطفی متفاوت است.
