تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
حقوقی/بشردوستانه. به طور خاص به افرادی اشاره دارد که به دلیل جنگ، آزار و اذیت یا بلایای طبیعی از کشور خود گریختهاند و پناهندگی گرفتهاند. پناهندگان به دنبال پناهندگی هستند، اما تبعیدیها میتوانند داوطلبانه یا سیاسی باشند و لزوماً از خطر فرار نمیکنند.
Legal/Humanitarian. Specifically refers to people who have fled their country due to war, persecution, or natural disaster, and have been granted protection. 'Refugees seek asylum' works, but 'exiles' can be voluntary or political, not necessarily fleeing danger.

تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
