روزمره. اغلب به جای 'handset' به کار میرود، مخصوصاً در بافتهای قدیمیتر، برای اشاره خاص به قسمتی از تلفن که صدا را دریافت میکند. 'گوشی را بردار' رایج است، 'handset را بردار' هم رایج است، اما 'handset' قسمت میکروفون را هم در بر میگیرد.
Everyday. Often used interchangeably with 'handset', especially in older contexts, to refer specifically to the part of the telephone that receives sound. 'Pick up the receiver' is common, 'Pick up the handset' is also common, but 'handset' is more inclusive of the microphone part.
