روزمره. معمولاً معنای تحقیر مستقیم و عمدی دارد که از offend قویتر است. در بسیاری از موقعیتها قابل جایگزینی، اما insult شدیدتر و عمدیتر است.
Common. Usually implies a more direct or intentional disrespect than 'offend'. Interchangeable in many social contexts but 'insult' is stronger and more deliberate. Example: 'He insulted her' works, but 'He offended her' can be softer.
روزمره. نرمتر و کلیتر از offend است و فقط به بیاحترامی نیست. اگر تمرکز روی ناراحتی احساسی باشد میتوان جایگزین کرد.
Everyday. Softer and more general than 'offend', not limited to disrespect. Can replace 'offend' if focus is on emotional disturbance. E.g. 'She was upset by his words' works well as a substitute.

Formal. Used mainly for laws or rights; interchangeable with 'offend' in legal or formal contexts but 'violate' is more precise and common there. Example: 'violate a contract' is clearer than 'offend a contract'.
