رسمی. برای پرداخت بدهیها یا صورتحسابها قابلجایگزینی است ولی برای حقوق و دستمزد استفاده نمیشود.
Formal. Interchangeable when referring to clearing debts or bills, e.g. 'settle your bill' works instead of 'pay your bill'. Not used for wages or salaries.
رسمی/فنی. برای ارسال پول، معمولاً به صورت الکترونیکی یا پستی به کار میرود و در زبان محاوره کم کاربرد است.
Formal/technical. Used for sending money, especially electronically or by mail. Not common in casual spoken English.

Formal. Used to describe giving money or other rewards in return for work or loss; slightly more formal than 'pay'.

Common/informal. Can replace 'pay' only when emphasizing enduring a negative consequence, e.g. 'pay the price'.

Everyday. Usually refers to payment by the hour or day. Similar but more specific than generic pay.

Formal. Refers to a fixed regular payment, often monthly, especially for white-collar jobs.
