روزمره. وقتی رضایت را بیان میکند جایگزین 'proud' میشود اما کمتر درباره عزت نفس است.
Common. Interchangeable with 'proud' when expressing satisfaction, but 'pleased' is more general and less about self-esteem. E.g., 'I am pleased with my results' works, but not 'I am proud with my results' as naturally.
رسمی. درباره احترام یا افتخار به سبب کسب جایزه است، جایگزین 'proud' در معنی خودستایی نیست.
Formal. Used for feeling respected or privileged often because of an award or recognition; not interchangeable when emphasizing self-esteem. 'I am honored to receive this' works, but not for general pride in oneself.

رسمی/غیررسمی. زمانی که غرور منفی باشد تقریباً جایگزین یکدیگرند ولی متکبر برتریطلبی و بیاحترامی دارد.
Formal/informal. Nearly interchangeable when emphasizing negative pride; implies a sense of superiority and disrespect. 'He is proud of his work' vs. 'He is arrogant about his work' differ in tone.
غیررسمی. بیشتر برای انتقاد از غرور بیش از حد استفاده میشود؛ مثبت نیست.
Informal. Used mainly in negative judgments about excessive pride. Not used neutrally like 'proud'. 'She is conceited' is a criticism; 'She is proud of her skills' is positive.
