تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
غیررسمی. معمولاً به مکانهایی با اشیای دورریختنی مختلف از جمله خودروها گفته میشود، ولی اغلب نامرتبتر و بینظمتر از اطرافدانی است.
Informal. Usually refers to places with various discarded items, including vehicles, but can be messier and less organized than a salvage yard. Example: 'The car was taken to the junkyard.'
رایج. بیشتر روی قراضههای فلزی و مواد تمرکز دارد تا خودروهای کامل. گاهی با اطرافدانی قابل تعویض است اما همیشه نه.
Common. Focuses more on scrap metal and materials rather than whole vehicles. Can sometimes be used interchangeably with salvage yard but not always. Example: 'They sold the metal to the scrapyard.'
