Typical or normal amount, quality, or level; not exceptional

رایج. وقتی چیزی وضعیت معمول یا استاندارد را نشان دهد به کار میرود. روز متوسط و روز معمولی غالباً قابل جایگزینیاند.
Common. Used when something represents a normal or standard case — 'an average day' and 'a typical day' are often interchangeable.
رایج و کمی غیررسمی. هنگام اشاره به چیزی غیر برجسته جایگزین average است، ولی معمولاً بار منفی بیشتری دارد.
Common, slightly informal. Synonymous with average when describing something unexceptional, but 'ordinary' can be more negative in tone.
