تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
رسمی/ادبی. مشابه figurine، اما میتواند به قطعهای هنریتر یا با ارزشتر اشاره کند که اغلب از مواد مرغوب ساخته شده است. در حالی که figurine برای هر مجسمه کوچکی عمومی است، statuette به مجسمهای مینیاتوری دلالت دارد.
Formal/literary. Similar to figurine, but can suggest a more artistic or valuable piece, often made of fine materials. While 'figurine' is general for any small figure, 'statuette' implies a miniature statue. 'She collected antique statuettes' works, 'She collected plastic statuettes' doesn't usually.

Common. A representation of an object, often used for demonstration or study, which can be small but doesn't necessarily have the ornamental quality of a figurine. 'A model airplane' works, but 'a model of a dancer' could be a figurine if it's ornamental.
