تفاوت با واژههای مشابه
روزمره. اصطلاح رسمی و استاندارد برای مادر پدر یا مادر. «گرندما» محبتآمیز و غیررسمی است و معمولاً توسط کودکان یا در زمینههای خانوادگی نزدیک استفاده میشود. 'My grandmother visited' رسمی است، 'My grandma visited' شخصیتر است.
Everyday. The formal and standard term for the mother of one's father or mother. 'Grandma' is affectionate and informal, typically used by children or in close family contexts. 'My grandmother visited' is formal, 'My grandma visited' is more personal.
غیررسمی/کودکانه. اصطلاحی حتی محبتآمیزتر و غیررسمیتر برای مادربزرگ که اغلب توسط کودکان بسیار خردسال استفاده میشود. در گفتار بزرگسالان کمتر از 'grandma' رایج است.
Informal/childish. An even more affectionate and informal term for grandmother, often used by very young children. Less common in adult speech than 'grandma'.
