روزمره. عمل کلی قرار گرفتن روی سطح مایع یا در هوا بدون غرق شدن را توصیف میکند. اگر زمینه کاملاً فیزیکی و غیرجادویی باشد میتواند با levitation جایگزین شود. 'زبالهها روی آب شناور بودند' درست است، 'جادوگر شناور بود' نیز درست است، اما 'او از طریق مدیتیشن به levitation دست یافت' رسمیتر به نظر میرسد.
Everyday. Describes the general act of resting on a liquid surface or in the air without sinking. Can be used interchangeably with levitation if the context is purely physical and not magical. 'The debris was floating on the water' works, 'The magician was floating' also works, but 'He achieved levitation through meditation' sounds more formal.
فنی/رسمی. به چیزی که در هوا یا مایع نگه داشته شده یا آویزان است، اغلب با ابزار مکانیکی یا به عنوان حالتی از ماده، اشاره دارد. 'ذرات گرد و غبار در حالت تعلیق' درست است. مستقیماً با levitation در زمینه جادویی قابل تعویض نیست.
Technical/Formal. Refers to something being held up or hanging in the air or a liquid, often by mechanical means or as a state of matter. 'Dust particles in suspension' works. Not directly interchangeable with levitation in a magical context.
